Your 15-minute planning call is designed to help you prepare for your personal branding studio photography experience!

• Talk about what you’ll wear & how to style your wardrobe. Review some tips on a recent blog!

• Review props to bring to use in your portraits – think about things you use in your everyday for your business

• Create a moodboard in Pinterest together – Your visual branding photos will showcase your brand’s unique personality

• Discuss your brand details & colours – what backdrops and outfits might work well to showcase your brand.

• Design your must-have shot list—everything needed to make the most of your studio time!

• Before your session, I’ll prepare the studio layout at my Milton location and lighting setup in advance, ensuring each look and setup aligns with your brand and goals.

4 Wardrobe Tips

1. Stick to clean, neutral tones
Soft neutrals, earth tones, and classic colours photograph beautifully in studio lighting and keep the focus on you and your brand. Avoid loud patterns or logos that can distract or date your portraits!

2. Choose pieces that fit well and feel comfortable
Well-fitted clothing always photographs better. Make sure you can try them on at home…sit, stand, and move comfortably—confidence shows on camera, and comfort makes a big difference.

3. Bring a few layered options
Blazers, jackets, or textured layers are an easy way to create multiple looks without a full outfit change. They add depth, polish, and variety to your final gallery.

4. Don’t forget to include shoes, and accessories to finish off your look! We take a variety of portraits

What to expect on the day of your shoot?

On the day of your shoot, you’ll arrive at my Milton studio and we’ll walk through the plan together before we begin, keeping the session relaxed, efficient, and on schedule.

Pick your favourite music for your session and then the fun begins!

How soon will I receive my images to review?

Your online gallery will be delivered within 1–2 weeks of your session.

From there, you’ll review your images and select your favourites included in your package. Additional images, professional prints, and custom albums are always available if you’d like to expand your collection and bring your images to life.
